What is the invisible ashram immersion training? It is the best of both worlds. It allows freedom and structure all at the same time. The ashram style training asks for a minimalist lifestyle while you devote yourself to your 200 teacher training. No drugs, sex, alcohol, smoking, social media, phone, TV, or outside contact with family (unless it is an emergency). Training time is your time to commit wholly to yourself and learning. Yes, we do go home to our own space every evening because 24/7 for 3 weeks with strangers is asking a lot. Everyone also needs their own bathroom because of the morning Ayurvedic routine which is to be done prior to showing up to class in the morning. The more you follow the invisible ashram, simply the more clear you will be to get the most out of your training. That being said, nothing is watched or recorded and you are your own accountability. It is suggested to start being aware of your intake 3 weeks to a month before starting training and letting your loved ones know you will be ‘off the grid’ per say while you are here. This YTT follows all Yoga Alliance requirements so you may become part of that organization post training if desired. Immerse yourself in all aspects of yoga–asana, pranayama, philosophy, anatomy, sequencing, and SO MUCH MORE!! This training is for those who wish to teach and those who wish to have a deeper understanding of themselves and yoga.
Note during retreats and training–I will be keeping most of my weekly class schedule and these classes will sometimes be part of the schedule, sometimes field trips, and sometimes completely optional.
