Mark came to the practice of Western Postural Yoga in 2009 through his love for both swimming and Philosophy. He found himself drawn to Yoga’s interplay between sequenced movement and breath-work, and, as he continued cross-training in other sports, he began to discover the strengthening and transformative benefits of the practice. After teaching swimming for over 10 years, Mark received his 200 hr RYT in 2017 and began teaching on land! He teaches public and private classes throughout the Flathead Valley.
For Mark, yoga is an expressive practice that builds stability through exploration. His classes explore the dynamics of Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga by drawing connections between the interplay of perception with intention, of breath with movement, and of pattern with modification.
